"Can I pause my membership?"
The association does not offer pause, leave of absence or hold option for Realtor and MLS membership. You may close your REALTOR® membership if you wish; however, please note that if you have not paid your dues for the year and decide to reactivate your REALTOR® membership within the same year, you will be required to pay the reinstatement fee as well as the full annual realtor dues (January through December). Annual Dues are non-refundable.
Recommended: Please speak with your broker first regarding any changes to your REALTOR® membership, as not maintaining REALTOR® membership may put your broker out of compliance with NAR.
If you do not need your MLS membership, you may close it to avoid paying MLS fees during that time. If you need MLS again, you may reinstate your membership as long as it is within one year of the closing date. Please note that there is a $50 reinstatement fee. MLS fees are prorated.
