On April 1, the MLS will retire its legacy view and transition to the new MLS 11 layout. While this change may seem overwhelming at first, the core functionality and tool locations remain the same. MLS 11 introduces a refreshed workflow with an improved design. As a result, adapting to MLS 11 is easier than it may initially appear.

To help you navigate the new layout, we have highlighted five key areas with the most significant changes. These are outlined below. Click on the headers to navigate to short videos that explain each topic.

  1. Continuous scrolling: Previously, if you had too many search results, you had to click through multiple pages to filter them, slowing down your workflow and adding unnecessary clicks. With MLS Live, your search results now appear on a single, continuous page. This makes navigating the data easier and quickly finding the most suitable properties for your client.

  2. The Action Pane: A new Action Pane has been added to the right side of the MLS search results page, allowing you to access tools and products with a single click—without leaving the search area. This pane can be easily collapsed or expanded using the double-arrow icon at the top right of the page. Click here for a short video on Pin Cards and the new location of Public Links.
    1. Clicking the double-arrow icon expands the Action Pane, providing access to the following options:
      1. Star Icon – Favorite specific actions within the Action Pane, keeping them easily accessible at the top of the display.
      2. Hide Unchecked Icon – Filter out or hide search results that are not currently selected.
      3. Sort Icon – Organize search data in different ways to better fit your needs.
      4. Find Text Icon – Search for specific keywords within your search results.
      5. Zoom In/Out Icon – Adjust the zoom level to focus on specific details or expand the view to see more of the grid display.
      6. Favorites Bar – Displays all tools and options that have been marked with the star icon for quick access.
      7. View/Manage Listing Bar – Includes key options for editing a listing or accessing more details. Features include "Revise Listing," "View History," and "View Tax Record," among others
      8. Prospecting Bar – Provides options for scheduling a showing and adding specific properties to a prospect list.
      9. Folder Bar – Allows you to add or remove listings from folders for better organization.
      10. CMA Reports Bar – Offers tools for generating Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) and market condition reports.
      11. Other Bar – Includes options for running statistics, exporting search results, or creating a presentation package.
      12. Links Bar – Provides quick access to third-party tools such as Listtrac, Glide, and Disclosures.io.
  3. New View Displays: At the top of the search results, two new icons allow agents to switch between specialized grid views and different display formats seamlessly. This feature makes it easier to condense listings into clear, digestible reports and focus on the most relevant information for both agents and their clients.
  4. Additional Functionality: At the top of the search results, four new icons allow agents to quickly isolate pictures, media, and documents for a specific listing. Additionally, the Map Icon enables agents to seamlessly switch to a map view, providing a visual representation of where listings are located in relation to one another.
  5. Hot Sheets and the Presentation PackageMLS 11 introduces enhancements to Hot Sheets, allowing agents to group results by change type for easier tracking. Additionally, a new Presentation Package feature enables agents to compile multiple reports simultaneously, reducing clicks and minimizing the need to navigate away from search results.
