Can I make photos in my listing private when I upload them?

===

    Yes, you have that ability now in the Upload/Manage Picture Tool! You can select all or some of the photos and then set them to “Private” which means they will be visible to third party sites only while in an on-market status (Active, Contingent-Show, or Contingent-No Show) and private when in off-market statuses (Hold, Pending, Closed, Sold Off MLS, Expired, Duplicate Cancelled, or Cancelled).

    Remember: the primary photo for your listing must remain visible at all times and so will never be marked as Private.

    The brief video at https://www.rapattoni.com/multimedia/player/yt/player.php?v=DOFV1NwKMQc will walk you through how to edit your pictures to suit your seller’s preferences. You can make these edits both when you create your listing as well as any time before it closes, expires, or is cancelled.

    If you no longer have access to update a listing of yours and it closed after 1 January 2002, you can contact MLS Support via mls@sfrealtors.com to request the photos be set to Private. Please include the listing ID and address in your email. If the listing closed in 2021 or earlier, we can change the Publish To Internet setting to NO for you instead and the listing will be removed from the IDX feed altogether.

    Finally, if you are the buyer’s agent, please contact the listing agent or their brokerage to request changes on the seller’s behalf.
