“I used the Private Photo tool to mark my pictures as private in the MLS but a third-party site is still displaying them. What should I do?”

If your listing is still in an On-Market status such as Active, Contingent-Show, or Contingent-No Show, then everything is fine. The photos are meant to be visible while your listing is on the market. No additional actions are necessary.
Once your listing status has changed to Pending, Closed, Cancelled, Duplicate Cancelled, or Expired and the listing is off the market, third-party sites should update their information accordingly. This means that they will display the listing without the photos you have marked as private (one primary photo will always display per SFARMLS rules).
If you see that your photos have not updated correctly 24 hours after the listing has gone off-market, please email mls@sfrealtors.com with the listing ID, property address, and the site or sites that are showing them incorrectly; we will investigate further.
