Updating Your App.
Once your Supra eKEY app has been authorized, it is ready to use. The most important thing to remember when using this app is that it can be used even when you have no signal. The best way to ensure this is possible, is by updating the app before heading out to a listing. You must update it once a day, and the app automatically updates when you open the app for the first time each day. Please be sure to do so when you have signal or are connected to Wi-Fi, to ensure the update takes place. You can manually update the app by selecting the “update button” at the bottom of the dashboard
Obtain Key
When trying to access the keys to the listing you’re viewing, you want to ensure that you are doing this in a timely manner. Walk up to the lockbox and open the app and follow these steps:
- Select “Obtain Key”
- Enter your 4-digit pin (You have programmed this with the SFAR MLS Staff).
- Once entered, the app will start to look for a Bluetooth signal to connect with.
- Grab the lockbox and push up (once) on the key cartridge (black portion under the lockbox) to turn on Bluetooth.
- You should see a red LED light flashing on the front of the lockbox, indicating that Bluetooth has been turned on.
- Look at the top of your Supra eKEY app, for a “Success” notification once the key has communicated with the lockbox. It will follow with instruction to push back up on the key cartridge, which will now release with the keys to the property.
Open Shackle
This feature is for those agents who have lockboxes or are setting up a lockbox for another agent on a listing. You would have set up a shackle code with our association when the lockbox was purchased. The steps are like obtaining the key.
- Select the “Open Shackle” option on your Supra eKEY dashboard.
- Enter the Shackle Code
- Select a reason for opening the Shackle.
- The options will display at the bottom of the screen
- Adding on a new listing.
- Removing from a listing.
- Relocating on same listing.
- None of the above (best for testing)
- The options will display at the bottom of the screen
- Add to my key box inventory?
- Grey will not add to inventory.
- Green will add to inventory.
- Select “Begin”.
- Once selected the app will start searching for a Bluetooth signal.
- Grab the lockbox and push up (once) on the key cartridge (black portion under the lockbox) to turn on Bluetooth.
- You should see a red LED light flashing on the front of the lockbox, indicating that Bluetooth has been turned on.
- Look at the top of your screen for a “Success” notification with instructions to compress & pull on the shackle to release it.
